Whole-house audio system integrates with AMX control systems

Using AMX Device Discovery technology, IntelliControl ICS system components from Niles Audio Corp., Miami, are automatically recognized and configured, creating a true plug-and-play experience for IntelliControl ICS integrators using AMX control systems. Joining the AMX InConcert program is part of a dedicated initiative by Niles to constantly develop and market new products that enable end users to have easy access to home entertainment and that integrate seamlessly with other low-voltage subsystems like lighting, Internet, security, and HVAC in residential and light commercial environments. IntelliControl ICS is a whole-house audio system that accommodates all of today’s popular sources – including Sirius and XM satellite radio, HD Radio, iPod, legacy audio sources such as CD players, media servers and AM/FM radio – and delivers detailed information to and from its keypads, touchscreens and wireless remote controls.
