NuVo Technologies announced that ADI, a major distributor of electronic products for security, fire protection, telephony, and audio-video applications, will now offer NuVo whole home audio systems, including both wired and IP based products, to ADI customers in the United States.  

Officials said the distribution agreement was effective immediately and that NuVo products would be available to ADI customers this month.

 “This is a great development for both companies,” said David Rodarte, NuVo vice president and general manager. “For NuVo, it engages a new audience of dealers, primarily security system installers well-versed in wireless technologies, who will find our easy and flexible audio systems integrate well with the solutions they already carry.  For ADI, which was looking for depth and more advanced offerings in home audio, NuVo is a branded source for multiple lines of quality residential audio systems, especially leading-edge wireless products.  We’re a very good match for each other.”

ADI, headquartered in Melville, N.Y., has more than 95 locations in North America and has been a distributor of Legrand network infrastructure products for 16 years. 

“ADI customers already buying Legrand products will now have access to complete lines of integrated solutions for home audio networking as well as for home automation,” said Rodarte, referring to NuVo and On-Q, another Legrand group brand in home electronic systems.
