System Sensor announced the launch of its new B200SR Intelligent Sounder Bases. These sounder bases support the System Sensor synchronization protocol, enabling them to be used as part of the general evacuation signal — fully meeting not just UL 268, but also UL 464 — just like any System Sensor SpectrAlert Advance horn or horn strobe. “Synchronizing the evacuation signal within a notification zone per NFPA 72 has often been an installation and configuration nightmare,” said System Sensor’s Todd Alford. “Imagine being able to turn on all of the sounder bases, horns, and strobes within a building and having them all synchronized to each other from the same power source — just the way NFPA 72 always intended it to work. With these sounder bases, you finally can.”
