ystem Sensor launched its new B200SR Intelligent Sounder Bases. These sounder bases support the System Sensor synchronization protocol, enabling them to be used as part of the general evacuation signal and meet not just UL 268, but also UL 464. The new sounder bases are intended for use in new and existing dwelling unit applications. Designed for attractive aesthetics and simplified installation, installers attach the mounting plate to a standard junction box, which is left free to store excess wire. The base then connects to the mounting plate for a surface-mount look, with no exposed components. The base’s mounting screws are covered by the attached sensor head, providing increased tamper prevention and a cleaner look.
