In conjunction with AV Week, October 16-22, Crestron of Rockleigh, N.J., hosted daily tours of its state-of-the-art Experience Center. Emphasis was on educating local high school and college students about the AV industry and career opportunities in the field.

“AV Week provides the perfect platform to generate awareness among young people about our industry and the importance of AV technology in our daily lives,” says Crestron Director of Marketing Vincent Bruno. Additionally, Crestron sponsors “Designing for 2030: Integrated Building Technology” on Wednesday, October 26th at the Center for Architecture in Philadelphia.

In its sixth year, AV Week is presented to raise awareness of the industry through national, regional, and local activities that inform the general public about the prevalence of AV in everyday life. To learn more about AV Week, go to http://www.infocomm.org/cps/rde/xchg/infocomm/hs.xsl/10670.htm
