HES Inc. released its 8500 Series, which is a concealed electric strike for mortise locksets. Its design requires no cutting of the frame under normal installation. The HES 8500 Series electric strike is an access control solution for mortise locks, which are used widely in commercial applications. The 8500 features a single model that works with 3/4-inch mortise latch bolts with dead latches in most every position. The 8500 electric strike features ANSI/BHMA A156.31 Grade 1Strength and a UL10C three-hour fire rating when used with a single door.
