Fire-Lite Training

ISC Solutions booth 1507 - Fire-Lite Alarms by Honeywell announced the nationwide expansion of its Software Applications training following what the company described as overwhelmingly favorable reviews of the course during its 2011 trial launch, mixed with ongoing customer requests for advanced software training.

The Software Applications course walks participants through a complete Fire-Lite Alarms system set-up from configuration and voltage-drop calculations to programming and updating control panel software. For a fee of $200 per participant, the one-day training covers Fire-Lite Alarms full suite of free software packages: Lite-Configurator, Lite-Calcs, PS-Tools and PPU Wizard.

“Critiques of this software course have all been very positive,” exclaimed Fire-Lite Alarms training supervisor, Tom Rosa. “We launched this course in a limited number of cities this year, but we’re going all out in 2012. It will be offered immediately following the free Fire-Lite Systems course in most of those cities as an optional add-on.”

According to Rosa, Fire-Lite Alarms will expand its 2012 free online training offerings through the addition of self-paced training modules and how-to videos. The new Web-based trainings will cover the most requested training and tech-support topics, including basic fire alarm technology, products not covered in the two-day Fire-Lite Systems class and basic panel programming.
