Stanley’s New eServices
Stanley Convergent Security Solutions Inc. launched a new line of cloud services and mobile applications and posted a video explaining the new e-services. The new offerings include eVideo Cloud Storage, Web-based time and attendance; smartphone security alarm control, in-motion iris biometrics and dynamic enhancements to Stanley’s eServices eExecutive Dashboard and eServices Mobile Apps — all were unveiled at ASIS International 2011 in Orlando.

First Responders, There’s an App for Them
VidSys, the leading provider of PSIM software that allows organizations to resolve business and security situations in real time, unveiled its new mobile application. Available on the Android and iOS platforms, the application furthers the existing VidSys PSIM software’s field collaboration capabilities by providing a user friendly interface designed specifically for first responders, who require real-time information as they respond to unfolding security and safety situations.
With this new mobile application, real-time information sharing and two-way collaboration between responders and command center operators is made even easier, and command center operators can better monitor, track and ensure responder safety.

A newly redesigned website for security and life safety system specifiers by Bosch Security Systems Inc. makes it easier for architects, engineers and consultants to find the information they need to specify and recommend systems from Bosch. The new site features a clean and straightforward design that highlights product specifications, CAD drawings and vertical market information, including installation examples. Tools — such as camera selectors, product advisors and calculators — provide added support.
The site includes information on Bosch video, intrusion, fire detection and access control systems and will soon be updated with details on the company’s portfolio of products for communication of voice, sound and music.
PowerMax System Gets Android App
Visonic Ltd. released a new Android app. MyVisonic, with PowerLink2 Web portal, allows homeowners to use Android smartphones to control their PowerMax® home security system. Homeowners can arm or disarm the security system, view system’s status, view live and alarm time recorded video from wireless and wired IP cameras, and control X-10 compliant home devices. In addition, homeowners can set up the system to notify them by email or text message whenever security, safety, home devices or camera events occur. MyVisonic app is available free-of-charge on Android Market.
