Bluetooth Remote Input Module Streams Music From Wireless Devices

![]() |
Home Automation Inc. (HAI) announced the development of a Bluetooth Remote Input Module (RIM) for use with HAI’s Hi-Fi 2 distributed audio systems. The Hi-Fi 2 audio system uses a series of up to eight local and remote inputs for music sources. The Bluetooth RIM is a new RIM that connects to the Hi-Fi 2 via a single Cat5, introducing Bluetooth connectivity to distributed audio. From the device’s settings menu, select the appropriate HAI RIM from the Bluetooth headphone option. Music can play using in-wall speakers from a user’s Pandora, Spotify, Rhapsody, iTunes, Google Music or YouTube playlists.
