Mercury Security Corp., a provider of open platforms for access control and Tridium, a provider of open platforms for device-to-enterprise integration and building automation, announced a technology partnership to integrate their respective platforms. The collaboration of the two companies enables device-level integration between building automation and security functions based on an open architecture that allows for new levels of intelligent building solutions.
Applying Mercury’s technology with Tridium’s Niagara Framework provides building owners and facility management solutions that integrate these once disparate systems and devices over an end-to-end, IP-based infrastructure for any type of building.
The companies demonstrated the technology at the ISC West conference in Las Vegas in late March. The solution will be commercially available through Mercury and Tridium partners later this year.
