AMAG Technology’s new Symmetry v7.0.1 brings new modules, features and dynamic enhancements to the Symmetry suite, all designed to improve functionality, reliability, security and compatibility. All Symmetry software suites, including Business, Professional, Enterprise, Global and Homeland Security editions, as well as all optional modules, are now available in v7.0.1, allowing end users to easily upgrade to the newest version.

Symmetry v7.0.1 also supports the fully integrated access control and intrusion detection system capability – formerly available only in the Homeland Security edition – in the commercial version.  In addition, v7.0.1 supports the new Javelin card reader family, which operates either as standard readers or as fully functional, intelligent alarm keypads to provide the IDS capability when used with v7 or higher.

Symmetry Video Management is now built into the software, redefining the way licensing is achieved. With v7.0.1, card reader licenses, IP video integrations, cameras or third-party video systems can be added as needed, allowing for easy security system expansion.
