Lenel Systems International Inc., part of UTC Climate, Controls & Security and a unit of United Technologies Corp., announced OnGuard 2012, the latest release of its security management platform, which will be available in the third quarter of 2012. OnGuard 2012 features a streamlined setup process, strengthened Access and Security Series hardware platforms, and improved alarm monitoring usability interface. Additionally, OnGuard 2012 includes support for Lenel’s Universal IOs on the Security Series Controllers (NGP), enhanced firmware and battery status support for Lenel’s Intelligent Locking System (ILS), and a time zone override function on the Access Series Controllers (LNL) that allows security to lock out certain individuals’ access in response to events.
