The cameras’ design incorporates a flat window that aligns with the lens for clearer images that are undistorted by the protective cover. Operators can zoom in to any part of a scene to examine specific details without losing clarity. The 2 MP cameras enable easy identification of faces, objects and alphanumeric information over a wide area. Conforming to the HD standard, the FlexiDome HD 1080p cameras produce images in the 16:9 aspect ratio that provides increased situational awareness with a maximized field of view. Optional Intelligent Video Analysis (IVA) flags alarm events on screen. The cameras start up quickly, have a user-friendly control interface and motorized automatic back focus. Power over Ethernet support ensures no additional power supplies are needed. FlexiDome HD cameras conform to the ONVIF standard for integration with third-party security solutions. The cameras feature an extended operating temperature that makes them suitable for hot or cold outdoor environments and the IP 66/NEMA-4X-rated dome can take on poor weather conditions.
