DVTel Inc.’s TruWitness is a mobile video application that turns a user’s Android phone into a full-featured IP video surveillance camera. With TruWitness, users are able to tap into the power of their Android-based smart devices to record, analyze, review and export video from any remote location. Available with DVTel’s Latitude 6.2, the system operates over WiFi, 3G/4G and LTE networks. TruWitness puts a live camera at the scene, no matter where it is located, and serves as a complement to existing surveillance networks and those places that traditional cameras cannot reach. TruWitness is currently available to existing and new Latitude 6.2 users free of charge. It is supported on Android-based smartphones running on OS version 2.2 and above.
