Speakers and In-Ground Subwoofer for Outdoor Use
At CEDIA EXPO 2012, Niles of Petaluma, Calif., showed off a new line of outdoor speakers and an in-ground subwoofer: the GS Garden Speakers and In-Ground Subwoofer.
Housed in UV-stabilized, long-lasting ABS plastic, the Niles GS4 4” Satellite Loudspeaker survives temperature extremes of -50 degrees to 185 degrees F. The 10” In-Ground Subwoofer centers on rich bass to the outdoors from an enclosure that disappears into the landscaping.
The GSS10 subwoofer can remain totally hidden from view, giving homeowners the opportunity to provide the powerful bass of a 10” Niles subwoofer without affecting their outdoor design. It also features a 10” mineral-filled polypropylene woofer and can output frequencies from 25Hz to 110Hz at up to 110dB.
