Samsung Techwin America introduced Samsung Security Manager (SSM) video management software. The license-free solution enables central management of up to 1,152 cameras and allows monitoring of live or recorded images from anywhere on the network. SSM incorporates a selection of viewing configurations including split screen options in 4:3 or 16:9 display formats. The system permits administrators to import building or site maps and overlay them with icons representing the locations of installed cameras. Icons can be set up to pop up if there is a related alarm event. Recorded video of the situation prior to the triggered alarm can be retrieved and viewed.
