Dortronics Systems Inc. introduced the Dortronics 3412 Series Drop-Bolt Locks, which provide a heavy-duty locking solution for single or double acting in-swing or out-swing doors, including Herculite frameless glass doors. The unit’s automatic alignment sensor simplifies installation and helps ensure a working lock. The 3412 Series Drop-Bolt Locks include an intelligent logic circuit that keeps the drop-bolt retracted until the door has been closed and is properly aligned. The design also features an adjustable mechanical alignment to compensate for excessive door gap of up to 3/16-in. wide. Other features include time delayed relock that is field selectable for up to 9 sec. and low current draw.
