Custom Alarm Celebrates 45 Years

customalarm Custom Alarm, Rochester, Minn., celebrated 45 years in business. Leigh Johnson, chief executive officer, started Custom Alarm in the basement of his home in August of 1968. He now operates a successful business alongside two of his daughters and 65 associates.

The 45th anniversary celebration consisted of an all company BBQ party complete with an associate beanbag tournament. The evening brought guests from the Rochester Area Chamber of Commerce. John Wade (far left), president of the Rochester Area Chamber of Commerce and a member of Custom Alarm’s board of directors joined Melissa Brinkman, Nikki Johnson and Leigh Johnson, Custom Alarm’s leadership team, in the photo above. They helped celebrate 45 years with a Business After Hours event hosted by Custom Alarm in their backyard.
