EnergySquadEnergy Squad, Bethesda, Md.,a green tech distributor, recently hosted a number of select dealers from around the country for the first-ever dealer training for the LED Diet program.

Over the course of two-and-a-half days, Energy Squad’s team of technology and sales experts provided hands-on training that outlined specific, real-world strategies and tactics dealers can use to effectively market and sell the benefits of green technology, including the LED Diet program, to significantly grow their businesses.

“There has never been a more opportune time for dealers to take advantage of everything green tech solutions have to offer,” said Wayne Ortner, director of sales for Energy Squad. “The rapidly growing demand for products like LED lighting, smart, eco-friendly home automation and energy management is opening new, and very profitable, doors for our dealers and our LED Diet training program is a great platform to teach them how to capitalize on those opportunities.”

Introduced at CEDIA EXPO 2013, the LED Diet program from Energy Squad provides dealers with a proven sales program that enables them to establish their businesses as the local authority on LED lighting and green technology. Certified LED Diet dealers, or LED Dietitians, can utilize the LED Diet to reach out to new and existing customers by offering a cost-effective and scalable approach to converting an entire home from an old, outdated, poorly lit and power-guzzling space into a beautiful, energy-efficient environment — literally one bulb at a time. As LED Dietitians, dealers also have access to special product pricing and unmatched technical support from Energy Squad.

“It was great to see the reps come in for the training to talk to us,” said Dave Gilbert of Hi-Fi Sales in Cherry Hill, N.J. "I’m really excited to bring my company up to speed with this. LEDs are a great addition to the services we already offer our clients — they just make so much sense.”

Following the success of the first-ever training, Energy Squad announced the dates for its second LED Diet training, which will be held January 21-23, 2014 in Bethesda. Space for the second training session is extremely limited and dealers interested in the LED Diet are invited to register online at http://energysquad.com/led-diet-training-january-2014, via phone 301-656-2238 or email at sales@energysquad.com.
