Alarmsoft will provide the software and infrastructure for the central station monitoring service, allowing existing Alarmsoft customers to add The Defender as a service for their customers.

The Defender deters a prospective criminal with a complete system that includes a 24/7 monitoring service, mobile app, and Bluetooth-enabled multifunction device that is small enough to hang from your keychain. Here is how The Defender works: The Defender takes a photo of a suspected attacker, which is immediately transferred to the iOS and Android app via Bluetooth. A compact and loud siren attracts attention and the high-strength pepper spray leaves an attacker immobilized. All of this occurs simultaneously as a message is sent directly to monitoring agents that includes the photo and GPS location. Users control the information shared from within the app including a user profile with photo, medical conditions and any relevant safety concerns that users will want to share with authorities. In addition The Defender provides a medical alert function.
