Pakedge Device and Software Inc. Craft Preferred Network Partnership With Bang & Olufsen

Bang & Olufsen America appointed home A/V networking specialist Pakedge Device & Softwareas one of its official preferred network providers, effective as of September 2014. Under the partnership, Pakedge will offer three pre-configured, out-of-the-box bundles, based on its Connect+ platform to meet Bang & Olufsen specifications. Each bundle is a set of carefully integrated system of switches, routers, wireless and software technologies, designed specifically to work with each other to deliver seamless, scalable, and reliable multimedia networking performance. Available nationwide in Bang & Olufsen North American showrooms, the integrated wired and wireless Pakedge system unifies the customer’s B&O components, digital devices, and favorite online services for a premium connected experience at home.

The following three Pakedge bundles are now available to Bang & Olufsen:

Pakedge System 1 EssentialBundle One – Essential

A wired and wireless networking bundle that comprises of the Pakedge RE-1 4-port router, the S8P4e 8-port switch (with 4 power over Ethernet ports), and the W7 dual band, high power wireless access point. It is ideal for homes requiring up to ten wired “plug and play” connections, four of which can be used to supply power to compatible devices such as cameras or touch panels. 

Pakedge System 2 AdvancedBundle Two – Advanced

A wired and wireless networking bundle that comprises of the Pakedge K60D 7-port router, the S24P8av 24-port switch (with 8 power over Ethernet ports), and the W7 dual band, high power wireless access point. It is ideal for homes with a large number of devices that have complex integration needs and require traffic management, prioritization, and segmentation for a high-end experience. 

Pakedge System 3 PrestigeBundle Three – Prestige

A wired and wireless networking bundle that comprises of the Pakedge K60D seven port router, the S24P8av twenty-four port switch, the W7 dual band, high power wireless access point and the BakPak Cloud Management System. The Pakedge Prestige system combines a high performance network with a real-time monitoring, management and maintenance service for assured connectivity and customer peace of mind.
