Solid Green Companies Meets Sustainability Mission with Home Automation

October 16, 2014

Solid Green Companies, which calls itself “an innovator in the building industry,” announced that it will provide standard home automation lifestyle packages in the new homes it is building. The announcement furthers its working relationship with Clare Controls, Sarasota, N.Y., a manufacturer of automation solutions offering scalable lifestyle automation solutions. The project is for Solid Green Companies’ new community, 1835 Village, in historic Gonzales, Texas.

Each home in Solid Green Companies’ new community will include Clare’s CLIQ Controller, the “brain” of the automation solution, to provide scalable services. Homeowners can then select personalized packages to add audio/video entertainment, safety and security, energy monitoring, and comfort and convenience. All of Clare’s lifestyle applications are unified securely under the control of a single, personalized interface on users’ iPads, iPhones, and Android phones, whether they’re at home or away.

“Solid Green Companies is continually working to develop new technologies in building, manufacturing, and construction that will fulfill our vision to be the leading global innovator for achieving SMART Net Zero building,” remarked David Carolan, founder and chief catalyst of Solid Green Companies. “We are excited about the new partnership, in bringing Clare automation to 1835 Village and the Gonzales community. The ability to control and monitor the home, remotely and simply, is important for our mission of achieving sustainability, comfort, and security for homeowners. We can rest assured that 1st Call Security Solutions will provide outstanding installation and system maintenance, providing our clients with dependable service and ongoing satisfaction.”

“Managing Clare’s cloud-based system management capability is unbelievably efficient,” stated Jim Casper, Owner of 1st Call Security Solutions LLC. “We can clone system configurations to quickly set up new projects, and maintain running projects conveniently using Clare’s secure remote access. Fewer on-site calls save us time and resources, providing Solid Green communities with faster, higher quality, and more personalized automation solutions.”

Brian Dietsch, Clare’s vice president of Business Development, added, “Clare has the ability to deliver affordable, luxury-level automation performance in systems configured and packaged specifically for the needs of forward-thinking home builders. We are thrilled that our system has created a viable relationship between 1st Call Security Solutions and Solid Green Companies. This venture will add incredible value to Solid Green Companies’ homes in its Gonzales community,” he concluded.
