Central Security Group (CSG), Tulsa, Okla., ranked No.14 on the 2014 SDM 100, announced the acquisition of Allied Protective Systems based in Oklahoma City. The deal added close to 6,000 customers and expanded CSG’s existing footprint in Oklahoma, under its Guardian Security Systems brand. The acquisition is part of the company’s growth strategy and occurs just three months after its acquisition of two Texas companies.

“For more than 30 years, the Allied team has operated a successful and respected business, which is an ideal fit within our branch operations,” said Richard Ginsburg, CSG president and CEO. “We are thrilled to welcome both their customers and employees to our company, expanding our service capabilities and market access. We are also pleased to make available additional service offerings to these customers, through our full line of interactive security and home automation options.”

Johnnie Fletcher, president, Allied Protective Systems said, “I selected CSG/Guardian because of their reputation and my desire to see that my employees and customers were taken care of.”

New York-based Vertex Capital was the sole advisor to CSG on this transaction.
