Honeywell Introduces Lyric Loyalty Program

Honeywell executives unveiled the company’s new Lyric Loyalty Program, which helps dealers capitalize on the security, home automation and connected home markets.

At an invitation-only event held on the eve of ISC West, Honeywell introduced its Lyric Loyalty Program, a dealer program for the Lyric line of connected home products the company introduced earlier this year. The Lyric line of products has expanded from a smart thermostat to include a wide variety of in-demand components of home security, automation and lifestyle management.

The Lyric Loyalty Program ensures that dealers are uniquely positioned to capitalize on the security, home automation and connected home markets. To that end, Honeywell has made significant investments in Honeywell Connected Home to help dealers take the market by storm. On Tuesday, invited dealers got a first look at Lyric products and their features and learned about the Lyric Loyalty Program, which will exist and operate independent of the traditional Honeywell Authorized Dealer program.

The Lyric line, which Honeywell unveiled at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show (CES), includes a controller, keypads, sensors and other related products. The controller incorporates innovative features like voice commands and Z-Wave device integration for locks, lighting, Total Connect cameras and thermostat. In addition, a built-in Total Connect camera can take snapshots of a person when he or she disarms the system.

Stoddard also says that Honeywell will be investing in consumer advertising and awareness of Lyric though a number of different channels. “We want to help dealers put their best foot forward with this product, and in turn, we are working hard for them to be successful by driving traffic and awareness of the product.”

Lyric Certified Dealers have access to product and platforms before anyone else in the industry, as well as a number of other benefits, including:

  • Early access to products before the general market
  • Programs and features not available to the general market
  • Lead-generation programs
  • Lyric-centric training and certification

In Booth 14025, Honeywell is showcasing Lyric, with all the products available for attendees to investigate and try out.
