Nedap Identification Systems designs, develops and sells solutions related to vehicle identification, drive identification, parking access, vehicle detection, vehicle gate management and hands-free building access. Their SENSIT solution consists of wireless sensors that monitor the occupancy of an individual parking bay in real time, gathering data on status and duration. This data is then available on a hosted software platform and can be used to monitor system operation and to integrate with third party systems.

The SENSIT platform is wireless and consists of a variation of sensors; relay nodes to make wireless network more reliable; the data collector gateway from wireless network to IP network; and interface software used to set up and configure the system, monitor and optimize system performance and connect to third party software.
