AlarmNet has expanded its integration with I-View Now to support Video Alarm Verification (VAV) with Honeywell Total Connect 2.0 Remote Services. I-View Now is a cloud-based technology that supports VAV for informed, rapid alarm response in residential or small commercial settings.

The VAV solution allows monitoring personnel to access 10 second video clips of the Honeywell Total Connect IP cameras with pre- and post-alarm footage, helping them to confirm the source of a triggered event, deploy appropriate action and ultimately alleviate problems caused by false alarms. Subscribers can directly view video clips, set up notifications on events and view remotely what is happening at the premise on mobile devices via the Honeywell Total Connect app.

For larger commercial and high-end residential settings, AlarmNet’s integration with I-View Now also supports the HRGX, Honeywell’s newest Performance Series embedded DVR. Because I-View Now is cloud-based and offers plug-and-play connectivity, no extra hardware or installation service is required for use. It is compatible with most leading central station software.
