Kantech’s EntraPass 7.0 security software integrates with ASSA ABLOY Aperio wireless lock technology to bring the flexibility of wireless locks to any door in a facility including cabinets, drawers and server racks with little to no operational disruption. The Aperio locks become part of the EntraPass security software eco-system and can be managed from the EntraPass interface for a unified security management experience. The wireless locks are ideal in settings such as universities, pharmacies, hospitals or any other door where electronic access control was previously cost prohibitive. Kantech is also part of the new Connected Partner Program from Tyco Security Products that allows third-party integrations via Kantech’s Software Development Kit (SDK). The kit enables partner technologies to interact directly with EntraPass to obtain pertinent information such as cardholders and event details.
