Brendan McFall, technical project manager, Northland Controls, became the new chair of the SIA RISE Networking Group, volunteering his time to support career resources for young professionals in the security industry.

SIA RISE offers networking events, job resources, scholarships and professional development to young professionals at SIA Member companies. “I am thrilled to be named the new Chairman of SIA RISE,” McFall said. “The group has accomplished some wonderful things in its inaugural year, and I’m excited to lead its efforts going forward. SIA has had a tremendous impact on me and my career, and I’m looking forward to working with SIA RISE to make a difference in others.”

While managing projects up and down the East Coast, McFall earned his Certified Security Project Manager (CSPM) certification from SIA. Soon after, McFall began helping build Northland’s Professional Services Department as a Technical Project Manager. In 2017, McFall joined the SIA RISE Steering Committee as the vice chair of social media.
