ADS Security (ADS), ranked No. 20 on the SDM 100, has acquired the customer accounts of The Alarm Company of Jackson, Mississippi. This purchase adds approximately 2,600 accounts — 80 percent residential and 20 percent commercial — to the ADS customer base. 

ADS will retain The Alarm Company office located at 338 Distribution Drive in Madison, Mississippi, establishing it as the second branch location for ADS in the state of Mississippi, and the 23rd branch location companywide. The Alarm Company Owner, Tony Collums, and his entire team will be joining ADS Security.

This marks the second acquisition for ADS in 2018. ADS has completed 24 acquisitions since accelerating its pace in 2014.

The Alarm Company customers will have access to the ADS advanced suite of residential and commercial services, such as its app and online Web portal, smart home technologies, video surveillance, and access control solutions. Additionally, ADS has an elite, private monitoring center located in Nashville, Tenn., where customers can call and speak to a live person, 24/7/365.
