Princeton Identity Inc.’s new IOM Access200W iris recognition reader is an environmentally sealed and impact resistant model designed for use outdoors as part of the company’s IOM Access200 biometric identity product family. When integrated with access control platforms, the IOM Access200W allows customers to unlock exterior building doors without removing gloves or reaching in pockets to find access cards while delivering the security of iris recognition authentication. The reader is suitable for use in heat, cold, humidity, direct sunlight and low light conditions. Until now, dealers installing an iris recognition system needed to use some other form of security for the exterior doors. Now they can provide their customers with a complete hands-free experience facility-wide, along with the ultimate in identity recognition technology.
