ABLOY USA Adds Standard Wholesale Hardware to Distributor Network
ABLOY USA continues to bolster its distributor network and has reached an agreement with New York City-based Standard Wholesale Hardware to sell high security padlocks and cylinders and other supplies to locksmiths. Supplying the community since 1945, Standard Wholesale Hardware services the Tri-State area of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.
“They do a fantastic job taking care of and working with locksmiths,” said Jerry Burhans, U.S. managing director of ABLOY USA. “It is great to have them as part of our distribution network. Standard Wholesale Hardware has well established roots after being connected to the industry for nearly 75 years. Their building on Ludlow Street has a lot of history behind it and their dedication to customers is second to none.”

Bardach said the majority of his company’s sales are door hardware, including locks and cylinders, tools, key cutting machines and key blanks and accessories. He indicated customers will have a unique opportunity to see the entire ASSA ABLOY product line at an upcoming event.
“The ASSA ABLOY Showcase on Sept. 18 is part of an annual event we have held for the last 10 years,” Bardach said. “It will be held from 6-9 p.m. at The New York Beer Company and it’s perfect for our top clientele to see ASSA ABLOY’s line and new products. We offer exclusive sales specials for those in attendance, plus raffle and prize giveaways. Over 150 people attended the showcase last year.”
