Ui Supplies’ BBQ Bash and Trade Show Brings Together a Crowd of Industry Professionals
Ui Supplies, a value-added regional distributor of name brand AV, networking, security and home automation products for the metro New York/tri-state region and member of the PowerHouse Alliance, celebrated its anniversary with its seventh annual BBQ Bash and Trade Show Aug. 8 at its Plainview, N.Y. location.
Bringing together approximately 300 dealers, vendor partners and industry friends, the event gave dealers the opportunity to talk shop, share industry knowledge, take advantage of at-show deals and experience new product demonstrations from more than 60 manufacturer reps spanning audio, video, security, networking, smart home, tools and accessories.
“Last week’s BBQ Bash and Trade Show was the perfect kick off to the second half of 2019,” said Patrick Berna of Ui Supplies. “The Ui Supplies team is fired up and ready for CEDIA Expo in Denver, Colo. and beyond.”
This year’s event featured multiple new product and technology demonstrations.
“Our annual show is my favorite event of the year because we get to show our dealers and vendors our appreciation for their business,” said Alan Malowitz of Ui Supplies. “It’s an ideal environment for dealers to get quality time with reps from all of the brands they carry to ask questions, demo new products and learn about the new technologies coming down the pipe.”
Attendees enjoyed food and refreshments from the popular OINK and MOO BBQ and exclusive discounts from all attending vendors. Some guests walked away with raffle prizes such as Yankee tickets, the LG OLED TV and the Samsung QLED TV.
“As always Matt and the entire Ui Supplies team put on a fantastic show with excellent dealer turnout,” said Jeff Miller, an attendee who works at eero. “They are fully committed to vendors like eero.
