21st Century Distributing, a consumer electronics distributor serving the Southeast and a PowerHouse Alliance member, has concluded its Annual Roadshow.

The new, larger location in the heart of the greater metro Nashville area replaces 21st Century’s existing warehouse in Smyrna, Tenn. 

Audio America, a regional distributor of consumer electronics and 12V products with distribution centers in Florida, Atlanta, Chicago and Los Angeles, acquired Consumer Electronics Distributors Inc. (CED), AV and specialty electronics distributor in the Chicago metropolitan market and broader Midwest.

AlarMax Distributors Inc. is the PowerHouse Alliance’s newest distributor member. As of Jan. 1, the new member will join the national distributor consortium bringing the total warehouse location count to 54 spanning over 850,000 square-feet nationwide.

The PowerHouse Alliance announced Professional Audio Associates (Pro Audio) as its newest distributor member. With Pro Audio’s two northeast warehouse facilities, the PowerHouse Alliance now has more than 800,000 square feet of warehouse space across 41 locations nationwide.

Consumer Electronics Distributors (C.E.D.), member of the PowerHouse Alliance and premium regional distributor of consumer and specialty electronics for the Chicago metropolitan market and broader Midwest, announced their annual Fall Ball Technology Summit with a series of three events for its dealers across Illinois, Minnesota and Wisconsin this October. 

Ui Supplies, a value-added regional distributor of name brand AV, networking, security and home automation products for the metro New York/tri-state region and member of the PowerHouse Alliance, celebrated its anniversary with the seventh annual BBQ Bash and Trade Show Aug. 8 at its Plainview, N.Y. location.

Last week, the 11 PowerHouse Alliance distributor members celebrated their tenth year as a national consortium, convening for their seventh annual National Sales Meeting alongside more than 30 vendors in preparation for CEDIA Expo and the second half of 2019. The meetings concluded with the announcement of four new board members who will collaborate in leading the group going forward.
