ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions, a global leader in access solutions, announced the integration of its Aperio wireless lock technology with the Pinnacle Advanced access control software and 1700 Intelligent Controller from Sielox LLC; and the PremiSys Access Control system from PDC IDenticard; as well as the integration of its IP-enabled Power over Ethernet (PoE), WiFi locks, and Aperio wireless lock technology with AvericsUnity from Averics Systems Inc.

Aperio will integrate with Version 10.4 of the Sielox Pinnacle Access Control Platform. The integration includes Sielox’s 1700 Intelligent Controller, an intelligent, fully distributed 32-bit access control panel for up to 34 doors that provides facility protection even if communications have been interrupted. Additionally, Aperio wireless locks can be controlled by CLASS (Crisis Lockdown Alert Status System), Sielox’s emergency notification and response solution.

“Aperio is a superior wireless lock that not only provides a high level of security but helps dramatically reduce installation costs,” said Karen Evans, president & CEO of Sielox LLC. “By integrating the Aperio lock with our Pinnacle and CLASS software and controller, we are giving customers the ability to implement wireless access in conjunction with existing hardwired access to provide a layered security solution.”

The Aperio integration with IDenticard offers PDC IDenticard customers an easy way to connect additional openings to their PremiSys installations.

“We are excited about the opportunities this integration provides our systems integrator partners and end customers,” said Aaron Henderson, director of field sales for PDC IDenticard Access Control. “With the broad range of wireless locks available with Aperio wireless lock technology, PremiSys now provides even more attractive and affordable options to secure non-traditional openings throughout facilities. This integration helps to solidify PDC IDenticard’s position as a solutions leader in wireless access control.”

Peter Boriskin, chief technology officer, ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions Americas, added, “The integration with PremiSys will allow organizations to seamlessly manage openings throughout their entire facility — from perimeter doors to supply drawers — using a single access control platform and security credential. The flexibility of our Aperio wireless solution makes this increased level of control easy and affordable.”

Averics Systems Inc. develops browser-based, non-proprietary access control solutions that can be used in local server or cloud-based deployments.

The two integrations with ASSA ABLOY offer Averics customers an easy way to connect additional openings to their AvericsUnity installations. Aperio is a global wireless platform that works with extensive locking hardware options from ASSA ABLOY Group brands, offering the flexibility to address a variety of applications throughout any facility.  AvericsUnity seamlessly integrates and unifies multi-vendor security products into a browser interface. Built on current open technology, including support for mobile apps and touch screens, it provides for control of Aperio locks from anywhere, any time. IP-enabled PoE and WiFi locks allow facilities to use existing or planned network infrastructure to expand their system easily and at a significant savings versus traditional solutions.

“Averics Systems is well known for providing sophisticated, yet intuitive security solutions. The ability to add the broad range of IP-enabled and Aperio locks to this system results in an even more powerful solution for facilities,” Boriskin added.
