Security 101 announced that 22 office locations will participate in the 8th Annual Gift of Security corporate giving program. This is the largest Gift of Security in the program’s eight-year history.

Each participating Security 101 office will award a custom installation of a video surveillance system from strategic partner Axis Communications and distributor partner WESCO Distribution. Each installation is valued at $10,000 setting the overall program contributions well over $200,000.

The locally-owned Security 101 offices participating in the 2020 Gift of Security program include Charlotte, Chicago (North Shore), Cleveland, Columbus, Detroit, Indianapolis, Hampton Roads (Norfolk), Houston, Las Vegas, San Diego, Orlando, Phoenix, Pittsburgh, Raleigh, Richmond, Rochester, Sacramento, Seattle, Salt Lake City, San Antonio, San Francisco and St. Louis.

The Gift of Security originated at the Security 101 – Salt Lake City location in 2013. Since its inception, the program has grown yearly and benefited numerous nonprofits nationwide.

“I am amazed to see what this incredible program has evolved into,” said Corey Tyriver, director of marketing and creative. “By participating in the Gift of Security, our local offices are showing what kind of people TEAM101 is comprised of — owners and employees who genuinely care and are happy to donate their own personal time to install the winner’s system and train their staff how to use it.”

Nominations are open and being accepted now. Online voting polls will go live on Nov. 19 after the finalists are announced, and remain open to the public through Dec. 10. Gift of Security winners will be officially announced on Dec. 16. The program can be followed and interacted with online by visiting the Gift of Security page at www.security101.com/gift-of-security.
