SageNet Offers Passwordless Security Solution for Managed Services Clients
SageNet, a managed network services and cyber security solutions provider, has partnered with security company HYPR to resell its enterprise-ready, FIDO (Fast Identity Online)-certified, passwordless security solution to its customers. The passwordless security services offered through HYPR complement SageNet’s cyber security offerings, which include vulnerability scanning with ASV capability, managed firewall services, SOC and SIEM services, and a wide range of other security tools and consulting.
HYPR is an authentication platform designed to eliminate passwords across the enterprise. As part of its security solution, HYPR removes hackers’ primary targets. According to SageNet CEO Daryl Woodard, the partnership matches HYPR’s True Passwordless desktop multi-factor authentication (MFA) process with SageNet’s robust cyber security offerings for a wide range of industries.
HYPR eliminates passwords and shared secrets across the enterprise and replaces them with secure, mobile-initiated login to desktops and applications.
“By replacing passwords with public key encryption, you create a very strong authentication process and remove a hacker’s favorite target,” explained Paul Truitt, SageNet’s chief information security officer. “That’s hugely important, especially for those companies with hundreds and thousands of locations and employees. With attacks becoming more sophisticated, it makes sense to do everything you can to protect your infrastructure and safeguard your data as well as the data of your customers.”
