Inc. magazine revealed its annual Inc. 5000 list for this year, which ranks the nation’s fastest growing private companies. In the security industry, Liteye Systems ranked No. 1513, EyeQ Monitoring ranked No. 1,639 and Iris ID ranked 2,947, respectively. Intuit, Zappos, Under Armour, Microsoft, Patagonia and many other well-known names gained their first national exposure as honorees on the Inc. 5000.

“We work very hard and have seen a lot of growth,” said Markus Scott, EyeQ CEO. “It really is quite an honor to make this list. We are proud of the work we do, and we look forward to continuous growth for a long time to come.”

The 2020 Inc. 5000 list achieved an incredible three-year average growth of over 500 percent, and a median rate of 165 percent. The Inc. 5000’s aggregate revenue was $209 billion in 2019, accounting for over 1 million jobs over the past three years.

“We are honored to make this distinguished list that has previously included such notable companies” said Kenneth Geyer, CEO and co-founder of Liteye Systems. “Liteye’s growth as an organization has only been achieved through hard work by our employees, partners and end users who all deserve credit in our success.”

“We’re honored to be part of this year’s Inc. 5000,” said Charles Koo, president and CEO of Iris ID. “This highly respected recognition is a tribute to our team, our products, tremendous revenue growth and the customer and partner satisfaction we’ve achieved. Our identity-based applications are used extensively by many of the world’s most renowned corporations and government agencies.”

The annual Inc. 5000 event honoring the companies on the list will be held virtually Oct. 23-27.

“The companies on this year’s Inc. 5000 come from nearly every realm of business,” said Inc. Editor-in-Chief Scott Omelianuk. “From health and software to media and hospitality, the 2020 list proves that no matter the sector, incredible growth is based on the foundations of tenacity and opportunism.”
