For the sixth consecutive year, COPS Monitoring is kicking off its annual donation drive to provide school supplies for 300 students. Every $25 in donations will fund additional school supplies for children in need at Crosspointe Elementary School.

“We are so very proud and honored to take part once again in giving back to our community,” said COPS Monitoring President Jim McMullen. “We encourage industry professionals to participate in this most worthy cause so that these children in need have the supplies they need when classroom instruction resume.” 

Along with the supplies essential for a successful school year, each backpack will go home with a note to parents and guardians reminding them of the stable employment opportunities in their Boca Raton monitoring station, which is just seven miles from Crosspointe Elementary.

“Crosspointe Elementary is a Title 1 school with 93 percent of our students receiving free or reduced lunch,” said Courtney Roper, parent liaison of Crosspointe Elementary School. “Our families struggle to provide their children with the necessary materials needed to be successful in school. Our facility, parents, and students are grateful for this partnership with Mission 500 and their sponsors, and we hope it will continue in the future,”
