The Electronic Security Association (ESA) and the Security Industry Association (SIA) are collaborating on a joint strategy to help their members identify, recruit and retain qualified employees for a variety of professional roles within manufacturer and integrator businesses.
More than 200 leaders in electronic security and life safety from all over gathered in Austin, Texas, Jan. 28-31 for ESA’s 2019 Leadership Summit and were not disappointed, according to a post-show survey conducted by ESA.
Two individuals were taken by surprise when the recipients of the Sarah E. Jackson Memorial Award and the Morris F. Weinstock Person of the Year Award were announced at the ESA Leadership Summit in Austin, Texas, Jan. 28-31.
ESA is organizing a nationwide advocacy movement on May 2 to connect people with their federal elected officials. The organization said it will arm people with information on important legislative issues and facilitate meetings with their members of Congress at their district office. ESA is doing this to facilitate taking an active stance for the industry.
CEDIA and The Electronic Security Association (ESA) announced a strategic reciprocal training relationship that will expand the educational opportunities for members of both professional trade associations.
The Electronic Security Association has awarded $12,500 in scholarship funds to students from Virginia and New Jersey as a part of the association’s annual Youth Scholarship Program, sponsored by COPS Monitoring and DMP.
ESA’s annual Day on Capitol Hill took place May 16 and 17, during which time security industry representatives visited nearly 100 U.S. House and U.S. Senate Congressional offices to discuss topics pertinent to the security issue and develop communication and relationships with lawmakers.
