For the second year in a row, Oklahoma provider of security and smart home solutions, Guardian Security Systems, has been selected as one of the “Best Places to Work in Oklahoma,” an annual list created by Best Companies Group to recognize companies that excel in creating quality workplaces.

Hanwha Techwin America (HTA), a global supplier of IP and analog video surveillance solutions, announced the appointment of company veteran Kichul (K.C.) Kim as the new president for the Americas. He replaces Soon Hong Ahn, who was promoted to head of global sales and strategic marketing at the company’s headquarters in South Korea. Both appointments are effective immediately.
 

ADS Security, a regional security company headquartered in Nashville, Tenn., was recently named a Fast 50 company by the Nashville Business Journal. 

Demand for security cameras is projected to increase 7.2 percent annually through 2021 to $2.8 billion, according to Video Surveillance Equipment Market in the U.S., a new study from Cleveland-based industry research firm Freedonia.

According to a report by Jon Cropley, principal analyst for video surveillance at IHS Markit, the world market for professional video surveillance equipment grew by 3.9 percent in 2016. While this is a higher rate of growth than in 2015 (1.9 percent), it is still low by historical standards, IHS reported.
