In 1950, Guardian Alarm Systems of Pittsburgh Inc., the former identity of Guardian Protection Services, was solely focused on the installation of security systems for jewelry stores. The name and the breadth of services offered both changed in 1975, when current CEO, Russell Cersosimo, bought the business and created Guardian Protection Services.

Guardian Protection Services, Warrendale, Pa., announced that Complete Home Security and Services of Fresno, California, joined its authorized dealer program.
Guardian Protection Services of Warrendale, Pa. recently achieved the successful implementation of ASAP-to-PSAP processing protocol for the communication of alarm information to the City of Richmond, Virginia. The protocol went live after successful data transmissions between Guardian’s U.L. certified CSAA Five Diamond monitoring center and the City of Richmond’s 9-1-1 center.
The convention, held at the Encore, Las Vegas, consisted of one action-packed day of informative sessions, networking, and an awards dinner.
