Vicon Industries, Booth 18075 — Vicon Industries Inc., Hauppauge, N.Y., a designer and producer of network video management systems, will officially launch Vicon Mobile, its free mobile app for iPhones, iPads and Android phones and tablets, at ISC West.
Milestone Systems has released Milestone Arcus, an embedded video surveillance platform that runs on Linux, Mac OS and Windows-related operating systems, within network storage and cameras or other edge devices. Hardware partners who embed Arcus in any hardware form factor will be able to offer a streamlined video management that is easy to install at competitive price points, Milestone said.
At the recent MOBOTIX East Coast National Partner Conference in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., integration partners and end users got a preview of new technologies to be announced this spring by the high-resolution, network-based security solutions provider.
From conception to completion, the integrator faced a number of challenges, including challenging lighting conditions, long wire runs and concrete walls. And in true Hollywood fashion, the company overcame each one to produce a happy ending for the theater.
