Technology migration can be tricky to predict, but it seems safe to say most video analytics will be deployed in the cloud within the next couple years or so. Already, a good number of companies are seeing the benefits of analytics, whether in the cloud or at the edge.

Perennial Software confirmed it has been acquired by EverCommerce, a company out of Denver with a number of field service management companies in its portfolio. 

ADT Inc., SDM’s 2017 Dealer of the Year, recently announced the completed acquisitions of Aronson Security Group Inc. (ASG) and Acme Security Systems. ADT says these acquisitions will help it bolster commercial growth and expansion.
