U.S. Congresswoman Sanchez Recognizes Hirsch Electronics' Homeland Security Accomplishments

Hirsch Electronics welcomed U.S. Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez (D-CA 47th District) to its corporate facility in Santa Ana, Calif., to meet with Hirsch Electronics executives to discuss homeland security and to tour their manufacturing facility.

Congresswoman Sanchez exchanged information with Hirsch Electronics experts regarding security of our homeland including ports, transportation, petroleum reserves, critical infrastructure, federal buildings and other high-risk facilities. They discussed legislation, funding, security successes and future opportunities.

Congresswoman Sanchez represents the 47th Congressional District of California, which encompasses the cities of Anaheim, Garden Grove, Santa Ana and some of Fullerton in Orange County. She is serving her sixth term in the House of Representatives. As the second-ranking Democrat on the House Committee on Homeland Security, Congresswoman Sanchez is working to protect the country and its citizens, including voting for the Intelligence Reform and Terrorism Prevention Act which implemented the recommendations of the 9/11 Commission and was signed into law.
