Pye-Barker has made three acquisitions: Odyssey Fire Protection, headquartered in Wilmington, N.C.; Strickland Fire Protection, headquartered in Forestville, Md.; and Northwest Fire Suppression, headquartered in Beaverton, Ore.

Odyssey Fire Protection specializes in designing, engineering and installing fire sprinkler systems for the construction and renovation of class A high rises, malls, retail centers, industrial buildings, museums, theaters, fire stations, apartments, schools, hotels, churches and healthcare facilities. Co-founded by Kevin Hommes and Eric Williams more than 12 years ago, Odyssey Fire operates throughout North and South Carolina.

Strickland Fire Protection is one of the largest fire protection contractors in the Baltimore-Washington metropolitan area. For nearly forty years, Strickland Fire Protection has offered fire sprinkler and water mist system, fire pump, deluge and fire alarm services. Strickland Fire Protection reinvests a portion of its profits on initiatives to help the underserved and rebuild communities struck by natural disaster.

Northwest Fire Suppression in fire suppression and fire alarm systems with expertise in special hazards fire suppression systems. NW Fire services thousands of industrial as well as commercial businesses throughout the Northwest region. It is led by John Durkin.

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety, founded in 1946, is a U.S. fire protection and life safety provider. The company now includes more than 110 locations and 3,000 team members across the country. In addition to portable extinguishers, restaurant fire suppression, special hazard systems, fire sprinklers, fire alarms, Pye-Barker offers alarm security, surveillance, intrusion detection and CCTV monitoring.
