Vector Security Inc., a provider of intelligent security and automation solutions for homes and businesses with local offices in Raleigh, NC; Sanford, NC; and Washington, NC, acquired Carolina Video Security Inc. (CVSI). This strategic move strengthens Vector Security’s presence in North Carolina and underscores the company’s dedication to fostering strong community ties.

The CVSI staff will continue operating from their local branch office in Raleigh, NC.

“The acquisition of Carolina Video Security highlights our commitment to growing our commercial business, especially as we continue to expand our intelligent video capabilities to meet the evolving needs of our customers,” Pam Petrow, president and CEO, Vector Security. “The CVSI team shares our passion for providing innovative security solutions with a personal touch. We’re excited to welcome CVSI’s customers and employees into the Vector Security family.”

This new chapter brings expanded resources, advanced technologies and additional support for CVSI’s customer base.

Brad Silvernail, president, CVSI, said, “Joining forces with Vector Security is not just an opportunity to grow, but also to enhance how we serve our customers. Vector Security shares our values and commitment to the community, and this partnership ensures that our customers remain in the best possible hands.”

With respect to the transaction, attorneys from Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney, led by Mary Ann Dunham, provided legal advice to Vector Security, and Chris Fulmer at Morningstar Law Group advised CVSI. Additionally, on the sell-side, CVSI was represented by Jerry Wilkins of Security Products Marketing, Inc.
