Kevin Stone, chief operating officer of Doyle Security Systems in Rochester, N.Y., has been appointed as treasurer on the Electronic Security Association’s Board of Directors.

Stone began his career with Doyle in 1989 and is a 32-year veteran the alarm industry. He started as a commercial security consultant and is now responsible for sales, installation and service for Doyle’s eight branches. He is also responsible for the Doyle Medical Monitoring division.  

Additionally, Stone is a Rochester Business Journal 40 under 40 recipient. The Rochester Police Rosewood Club recognized him with a Distinguished Service Award. He was recognized by Rotary International as Rotarian of the Year and was named a Paul Harris Fellow.

“It’s an honor to give back to an industry that has been so good to me,” Stone said. “Both myself and Doyle Security are committed to progressing the electronic security industry — and there’s no doubt that ESA is an effective vehicle to do this.”

Stone currently sits on the advisory boards of the Monitoring Association (TMA), Security Industry Alarm Coalition (SIAC), Resideo and the American Cancer Society. He’s past president of the Akron Newstead Rotary and vice president of the Akron Central School District Board of Education. He is a past chairman of the Western New York Chapter ASIS.
