Allegion Door Closer Easier to Install, Maintain

Allegion has enhanced the LCN 4040XP door closer to make the closer easier to install and maintain. This durable non-handed, surface-mounted heavy-duty closer is designed for the most demanding high-use-and-abuse applications. Enhancements include: a positive stop staking feature that prevents screws from being backed out; labeled regulation valves and corresponding diagram to make adjustments more intuitive, faster and more consistent; enhanced green dial that takes the guess work out of spring power adjustment; and LCN’s logo on the casting for easy identification. New digital resources further simplify installation for new facility management professionals. These include interactive installation instructions via a QR code on the closer itself.
