The California Alarm Association Winter Convention in San Francisco will host the official launch of the new Women in the Security Evolution (WISE) group.

This year's CAA Executive Symposium, moderated by industry veteran George De Marco, will spotlight three esteemed executives from WISE. 

Kelly Bond, partner at Davis Mergers & Acquisitions Group, Audrey Pierson, principal at Audrey Pierson Consulting, and Joey Rao-Russell, president and CEO of Kimberlite Corp. (dba Sonitrol Security and Security First Alarm King), will share their insights on industry trends, challenges and future directions.

“The Executive Symposium is a special event that I have the pleasure to moderate annually. This year is particularly exciting as we feature three of our industry’s most influential individuals,” De Marco said. “Their perspectives are crucial in understanding the evolving landscape of the security industry.”

The symposium will be held 1-3 p.m. on Dec. 8.  

Cathy Rempel, chairperson for WISE and past CAA president, shared her anticipation for the event. “It’s with sincere gratitude to CAA and George De Marco that three inspiring leaders from WISE will share their perspectives on pivotal industry trends and vision for the security industry’s future.” 

The winter convention is the CAA’s flagship event. The Executive Symposium serves as a critical platform for professional dialogue and collaboration, reinforcing the CAA's mission to be an industry advocate and a trusted resource for safety and security information and services.

The symposium is tailored for industry professionals, including alarm dealers and vendors, offering an opportunity to gain insights from leading voices in the industry and to network with peers.
