GELSSA, the Georgia Electronic Life Safety & Systems Association, announced a change in association management. GELSSA has appointed Shannon Few as the new executive director, who will lead the organization moving forward.

“On behalf of the GELSSA board of directors, we are pleased to welcome Shannon Few as our new executive director, said Derek Dever, president of GELSSA. For years, we have been operating through the hard work and efforts of volunteers and the time has come to bring on a professional association management company with the relationships, resources, and experience to bring new life to GELSSA.”

Few comes to GELSSA with a wealth of experience in association management and a proven track record of growing and re-energizing associations, the announcement states. The board of directors is confident that Few will bring new energy, attract new members, increase value for members and lead GELSSA to new heights.

I am ecstatic to join GELSSA as its new executive director and I’m very grateful to the board of directors that have entrusted me with this great responsibility, said Few. I look forward to working collaboratively with the dedicated members of GELSSA to revitalize the association, bring new life to our events and programs, and most importantly increase value for members.
